Requirements to get on the Ice
Please note your requirements are not considered done until they have cleared through our USA Hockey system. Please wait until you have heard from us before participating as a volunteer
USA Hockey Number
Each Season you need to get a new membership number.
Please make sure to use your Legal name(ie. Benjamin not Ben)
There is a fee to this that EHA will reimburse at the end of the season
Your number must be on file with us to particapate for our organization Please send your number to the EHA Registrar at Kmurch98@yahoo.com
Safesport
All coaches must complete Safesport training before being allowed on the ice. This is an annual requirement that expires after 12 months. You can renew your safesport with-in 30 days of expiration. After completing it the first year you will then have shorter refresher courses the following years.
Please use the link through USA Hockey(provided below) for Safesport. Do not go directly to the Safesport website.

Note: The username field is disabled at the start, but will be available once a verification code is issued and entered.
- To set or reset password, enter the email address associated with your USA Hockey membership then click on the Send verification code button. Note: The verification code is only valid for 5 minutes.
- Retrieve the verification code sent via the email address above, enter it in the Verification code and click on the Verify code button.
- Enter your USA Hockey username, click on the Continue button.
- Enter your new password (conforming to requirements provided) and re-enter the password to confirm, then click on the Continue button.

background screening
All coaches must complete. This is a requirement that is done once every 2 seasons. This can take up to 14 days to clear and you cannot participate as a coach until it shows in our system as completed.
The code needed is already inputted when you access the page from this link.
There is a fee that will be reimbursed by EHA at the end of the season.
Training Module
Complete the age specific module for the age group that you are coaching. This must be completed prior to getting the ice.
Requirement to complete by Dec 31st
Coaching Certifacation
Attend an appropriate coaching clinic if your certification is expiring or expired. Currently clinics are being done both virtually and in-person. There is a fee that will be reimbursed by EHA at the end of the season (up to the cost of a level 3 clinic). This does not need to be competed until December 31st, but please understand that if after that time you have not completed the requirements, you will be removed from the roster per USAHockey rules.
